College Application

The Common Application - single, standard site for applying to over 700 U.S. colleges and universities

BigFuture - College Board's site which provides tools and resources for college search, career exploration, financial aid and college applications

NCAA - provides information on all aspects of athletics in college

Colleges That Change Lives - describes a wonderful group of student-centered colleges throughout the U.S.

CollegeData - provides excellent, detailed admissions and financial information about U.S. colleges and universities

Standardized Testing Resources

College Board - PSAT, SAT, SAT Subject Tests and AP exams, including upcoming test dates, test centers, registration, scores, and requesting accommodations

SAT/ACT Testing Accommodations - guidance on navigating the process to obtain testing accommodations for the SAT and ACT

FairTest - identifies colleges that are fully or partially test optional (do not require the SAT or ACT)

TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language, which is required for international students whose high school classes were not taught in English

CSS PROFILE - College Scholarship Service Financial Aid PROFILE, the online application for non-Federal financial aid used by some selective (and mainly private) colleges and universities

FastWeb - search FastWeb’s online database of over 1 million scholarships for college

EFC Calculator - use the College Board BigFuture’s Expected Family Contribution (EFC) calculator to estimate how much your family will be expected to contribute to your college cost and gain insight into your financial aid eligibility
