About Carole
Carole Kraemer is the founder and owner of Kraemer College Planning. She attended Lehigh University where she graduated summa cum laude and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies. She worked for Accenture in the IT consulting industry for 29 years and held various managing director positions in global and North American business operations. During her tenure at Accenture, Carole did extensive career counseling and developed a strong interest in the field. She is certified in the Myers Briggs (Personality) Type Indicator (MBTI)® and Strong Interest Inventory® and uses these tools in her current practice. Carole guides high school and college students in using the assessments to determine potential educational and career path options.
Carole regularly visits colleges and universities and meets directly with admissions officers to stay current on admissions policies and practices and schools’ offerings. See the Colleges page for a list of schools recently visited.
Carole is a Certified Educational Planner (CEP), which is the highest certification available in the field. She is also a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and a member of the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling (NJACAC) and Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC). She completed the IECA Summer Training Institute held at Swarthmore College in 2016 and completed the Independent Educational Consultant certificate program at the University of California-Irvine. She is an active Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and Peer Coach for abused and neglected children in Burlington County, NJ. She also served on the Board and was Board President of Freedom Prep Charter School (K-12) in Camden, NJ. Carole lives in Moorestown, NJ, with her husband, Rick, who is the owner of upper90prep, a tutoring and standardized test preparation company.
